Hawaiian Luau Day

For day four (Hawaiian Luau Day), we celebrated all day long! We had a special guest come and show us several Hawaiian dances, who told us the meaning of the dances and the history of the art of Hawaiian dancing.

We also had a special fresh fruit Happy Hour – our housekeeping staff cut up tons of fresh tropical fruit and also made some Bananna Crush Punch for all the neighbors and stakeholders to enjoy. To top off the evening, we had a Luau Family Night. We had barbecue chicken, baked beans, hawaiian rolls, and several of the families brought in their favorite side dishes to share with everyone.

Bring On The Fiesta

The neighbors celebrated day two of National Nursing Home Week with a fiesta. We celebrated all day long! We had a Mexican buffet for lunch, we got to enjoy a few native refreshments from Mexico, and to top off the day we enjoyed an Elvis show by Don Goodfleisch.

National Nursing Home Week: Monday–Our Journey

The first day of our week of fun was focused on our Eden Journey, building relationships with one another, and expressing ourselves through arts and crafts. We played a game of Eden Jeopardy and topped the day off with an ice cream social.

Sacred Six–Teamwork
